Based in the City of Ripon, North Yorkshire, Scooterotica is ideally located to serve the heart of the Yorkshire Scooter Scene. Jump off the A1 in any direction and you are at Sean's place in 5 minutes. Established way back in 1977 Sean Brady has been building, restoring, painting and tuning Lambretta and Vespa scooters of all variety in a spectacular fashion ever since. Never advertising in 32 years, yet never going short of work in that period......because local scooterist know that Sean does a 'Grade-A' job for unbelievable prices.....and that's what keeps his workshop queue full at all times. 
(Sometimes too full!) 
You'll see various respected scooter specialists throughout the country....and whilst some specialise in Vespa, some Lambretta....some are tuners, some are painters, some are parts re-sellers and some are dyno outlets..... it's rare to come to a 'one-stop-shop' that can, and will, do 'The Full Monty'. We do it all under one roof! We don't discriminate between Vespa and Lambretta, we have equal passion for both, nor do we only tune or only paint.....we do it all. To have a Vespa and Lambretta tuner, that can also build, restore and paint all under one roof is quite rare! And having had several scooter built by Sean, as well as seeing dozens more done for customers, I can personally state that the quality is first class, the attention to detail is perfect, and the performance is always blistering....but of course i am biast! :O) And of course the additional dyno tuning , MOT testing, yearly service work and so on, all add to the flavour of the garage.
Scooterotica are not a 'parts stockist' we simply retain a stock of items that we use selectively for our customers scooters, and also run accounts with all major suppliers, so that we have everything the customer needs right at our fingertips. Some guys that come to us have already purchased the bits they need from the UK's mail order outfits, and that's fine by us too.... So don't worry about wanting this or that fitted to your scoot, unlike your local dealership that won't fit anything except the bits they sell.....you can pick & mix from your favourite suppliers, or have us buy and fit all the bits for you.
So that's Scooterotica....it's no high street showroom, with glitzy signs, bright lights and greasy sales staff....but then that's a good thing, because our customers don't have to pay over the odds to sustain the overheads associated with such set ups....and they don't get the 'sales bulls**t' that goes with it either! It's a 'grass roots' set up, run by a down to earth people, providing a great service, at value for money prices.
